A list of the steps you need to take — from start to finish, in order to set up your complete Kajabi engine and start selling your products / services. This is a high-level outline with help articles.

There’s a lot of features and functionalities that can help you expand your marketing reach, and build a strong community around your brand, and these steps will get you started on that path.

1. Pick Your Product &Automations

Your course, membership, or coaching program starts here. Kajabi walks you through setting up your product step by step, so even if you're a tech newbie, you'll be up and running in no time.

Courses allow for live webinars for everyone enlisted in your program.

Imagine your Kajabi setup as a smart robot that works for you. Automations take care of the repetitive tasks so you don’t have to.

If you plan to activate the live webinar feature inside your course, and want to provide lifetime access to your course alumni but not lifetime access to all future webinars (or live coaching calls) duplicate the course and remove the group coaching feature.

Then set up an automation in the original course that revokes access at final module completion, and grants access to your duplicate course offer. You can set an automation to send their completion certificate, and send a custom email to them detailing information about the lifetime access course.

Offers can consistent of single products, or multiple - meaning you can bundle them.

You can also configure offers without products - like if you sold a PDF delivered via email, or instant download.

Take a tour of the settings, and create post-purchase automations like follow-up emails or a thank-you note that delivers a bonus. This is where you take customers from “interested” to “paid and happy.”

Design a checkout page for each offer with a description that really sells. You can skip step 5, and simply market the checkout page if you’re looking to keep the budget lean and have an ad-spend, and already have a known brand.

5. Build Your Website

Now it’s time to give your product a place to be seen online, and connected to your checkout page.
